The transformation of my long-time passion for the art of photography into a rewarding profession has been one of the most gratifying accomplishments of my life. It brings me the greatest pleasure when I capture that perfect expression, that perfect, pose, that perfect emotion in images that my clients will treasure.

Having had the experience of raising two children of my own and working with literally thousands of other people’s children, I’ve gained so much insight into how their minds work. I pride myself on the ability to work well with little people and adults, putting them at ease in front of the camera.

Shortly after establishing myself as a professional photographer in the small business arena in the mid-90s, I received my certification (CPP – Certified Professional Photographer) and I earned my Master of Photography degree from PPA (Professional Photographers of America). I am grateful to have received recognition for my work from local to national levels and to have images featured in various publications and displayed at Disney’s Epcot Center.

My clients have described my work as beautiful, sensitive, artistic, emotional, and classic. Many times they’ve exclaimed that their finished portraits actually looks like a paintings. This encapsulates my entire mission!

A Scottsdale, Arizona home-based studio, McCay Photography was established in 1996 and serves the greater Phoenix communities. During the early years of operation, the photo industry saw a rapid shift from film to digital, and since then, photography has seen many changes.
